Bergtagna Chimes: Lújar

The Bergtagna Chimes “Lújar” is an 8 note Chimes/Tubular Bells instrument.
It is tuned in the scale of F# Harmonic Minor with the notes:
F# – G# – A – B – C# – D – E# – f#
It is tuned using equal temperament, with A=440Hz. But we are always open to using other frequencies as per your requirements.
As it is tuned to a scale it’s very easy to play as all notes go together.
The instrument stand can easily be assembled in a standing position, or lying down for increased playability.

The name comes from the mountain “Sierra de Lújar” in Andalucía, Spain with an elevation of 1878m. From its peak you can view the Gibraltar peninsula to the west, Sierra Nevada to the north and the snowy peaks of the Atlas mountains in Morocco on the opposite side of the Mediterranean sea to the south.
